On Friday, Stevco Jakimovski, at what he said was his last press-conference as Karpos Mayor, stated that he was leaving the Municipality with a budget income of 13 million euros even though when he’d started his term in 2021, the income and debt levels had been 6 million and 6.5 million euros, respectively.
“On 4 November 2021, I inherited no serious infrastructure project, whereas today, 7 November 2025, I’m leaving four projects that are underway, 12 projects in relation to which agreements have been signed and introduced to work and companies have been introduced to work, four projects over which tender procedures are underway and another 6 projects approved by the R. Macedonia’s Government worth over 9.5 million euros. In addition, at the preparation stage, another 10 infrastructure projects, including a multi-storey car park for Karpos 1, have been ordered”, Jakimovski added, inter alia.
