On Thursday afternoon, the Interior Ministry said two helicopters had used over 65 tonnes of water to localise the reactivated leg of the Jasen fire.
That prevented it from spreading towards Breznica and Tazevo village, as well as towards the National Park. Earlier that day, authorities had said the last active fire had been put out.
