Judge Nenad Saveski Nominated by Government as Prosecutor General

Criminal Court Judge Nenad Saveski has been nominated by the Government as Prosecutor General.

Spokesperson Marija Miteva said on Tuesday the decision had been made after a thorough and constructive debate at the Government’s session earlier that day.

Presenting his biography, she said he’d been an OSCE expert, lecturer, and a public prosecutor who had undergone a big number of international training activities and participated in the drawing up of reform laws.

In that regard, Miteva stated that the Government expected his election to increase the Prosecutor’s Office public rating and trust. The nomination will be sent to Parliament.
