Judicial Council Draft-Law Enters Governmental Procedure

The Judicial Council Draft-Law has entered procedure within the Government, while the Justice Ministry has also received the opinion from the Venice Commission.

“It’s about a constructive and substantial document that contains clear instructions and recommendations, especially with regards to parts in which the Ministry has invested serious focus. Those remarks have already been considered. What we find particularly significant is that the Commission has acknowledged the transparent and inclusive process in the preparation of the law, through public debates, expert consultations, and inclusion of all key actors”, the institution said on Friday.

The Ministry expects the text to soon be adopted by Parliament, as foreseen.
