Justice Ministry: It’s not True Reform Agenda Funds will Be Lost

The Justice Ministry has said that it’s not true that funds from the Reform Agenda will be lost.

European funds are not under threat, while deadlines provide for an additional 12 months to fulfill obligations, the institution explained on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry, seven of the eight laws from the Agenda, with June as the deadline, have been prepared, while the laws concerning salaries of public prosecutors, of Judicial Council members, of Council of Public Prosecutors members, the Judicial Council, court service, and public prosecutor’s service, have entered procedure within the Government.

Regarding the Electoral Code, the institution stated that the text had been prepared by its expert service in line with ODIHR recommendations and sent to it.
