Ex-Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi and Razmena Cekic Durovic, former State Secretary at the Ministry, who are among the suspects in the Kocani fire case, have left detention, that is, the Kocani Court has accepted the Prosecutor’s Proposal for each to be placed under house arrest.
For 18 other suspects for whom it’s been proposed for the previously issued detention and house arrest measure to remain in force, the deadline for a decision by the Court expires on 20 May. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, its team in charge of the tragedy is finishing the witness-questioning process.
