The Kocani Prosecutor’s Office has officially received the document from parents of those killed in the Kocani fire requesting an explanation of the charge, filed on Friday, against 34 physical persons and three legal entities. That has been confirmed by Marija Petruseva, whose son was among those killed in the 16 March tragedy.
“I personally submitted on behalf of all parents”, she told Telma on Monday.
According to information from both relatives and the Office, the meeting will be held in Kocani this week. The time will be adjusted with parents, while the venue will need to be confirmed.
The request was announced during the protest march held on Saturday, where parents said they were demanding answers to the numerous dilemmas that had emerged since the tragedy.
