A new hearing was held in the trial over the Kochani fire on Wednesday. It saw the conclusion of the testimony of Petre Ruseski, the construction expert witness proposed by Pulse’s owner, defendant Dejan Jovanov.
Under cross-examination by the defense, he reiterated that the facility had been constructed in accordance with technical documentation and that the physical condition of the building hadn’t been the cause of the fire. What provoked the strongest reaction in the courtroom was his testimony according to which the nightclub did not have a dropped ceiling.
The next hearing in the case will be held on November 3, when a defense witness from the company that carried out the interior reconstruction of the nightclub is scheduled to be examined.
