The Director of the Krushevo Historical Museum, Miha Odjaklieski, has submitted his irrevocable resignation.
The decision follows severe public backlash sparked by the renting out of the Makedonium monument in Krushevo for 500 euros for the filming of the music video “Sexy Mama” by Kosovan rapper Don Xhoni.
In his resignation, Odjaklieski stated that he took the step as a personal, moral, and ethical act reflecting accountability toward both the institution and the general public. Permission for the filming had been granted by the Museum’s Management Board, whose members have also resigned.
