The ban on drinking and domestic water use in Krushevo remains in effect until three consecutive testing samples confirm safety.
The first sample, taken on Wednesday, showed safe parameters today, the Prilep Center for Public Health said on Friday, but using the water is prohibited until all three samples pass, expected by Tuesday at the earliest. Residents of Krushevo are managing with bottled water.
Meanwhile, in Prilep, there are no issues with drinking water. It is safe and available in sufficient quantities despite increased consumption.
