Private bus transporters, as previously announced, withdrew the vehicles from traffic in Skopje after 10 am on Monday.
As they pointed out, in the period ahead, the buses will be in traffic only in the morning. In that regard, they explained that that would continue to be the case until their demand for a bigger part of the 170-million-denar debt to be settled was met. Also, transporters stressed that they hadn’t received pay since March.
However, later on Monday, the Public Transport Enterprise paid six million denars to the three companies each. As a result, buses will return to traffic normally as of October 7.
