On Wednesday, Parliament passed the package of legal changes reducing salaries of officials. According to the new laws, the salaries will fally by 10 -13 thousand denars.
VMRO-DPMNE MP Bojan Stojanoski said that for MPs and officials part of the executive power, coefficients were being reduced. Regarding mayors, there is a new scale of coefficients, which is related to the number of residents. The decisions are in line with the Constitution, the MP noted.
Previously, Parliament had rejected SDSM’s proposal for a minimum wage of 600 euros at a plenary session too. In addition, the session saw Parliament pass legal changes enabling work to proceed on the Miladinovci-Shtip and Kichevo-Ohrid roads.
