At a press-conference on Sunday night, Levica leader Dimitar Apasiev levelled fierce criticism at VMRO-DPMNE and VLEN. In that regard, he said that the latter had tricked the former in all places where Hristijan Mickoski’s party had expected votes from the ethnic Albanian coalition.
VMRO-DPMNE leader and PM Hristijan Mickoski, Apasiev pointed out, has lost the entire western part of Macedonia due to his short-sightedness. Regarding the Skopje mayoral race, the Levica leader stated that his party’s candidate, Amar Mecinovic, had received 100% more votes when compared to the first round.
“From the second-ranked party at a level of Skopje, I am tonight revealing we’re the first-ranked one, even ahead of VMRO-DPMNE in Centar, Karpos, and in the urban part of Aerodrom”, Apasiev stressed.
As many as 66% of voters in Skopje didn’t vote, he noted.
“Out of those that comprised the third that did, one-fifth voted for us”, the Levica leader also said.
He sent a message to SDSM voters, saying Levica was their option. In that regard, he stated opposition tendencies were already lining up behind Levica.
