Regarding the local elections, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski stated on Monday that intraparty consultations were continuing.
There are also talks on cooperation with ZNAM and VLEN. Mickoski didn’t reveal whether there was a deal to endorse ZNAM leader Maksim Dimitrievski in the Kumanovo mayoral race.
VMRO-DPMNE is yet to officially present its plans for the Centar mayoral race as well. SDSM, on its part, still hasn’t presented information about who its Skopje mayoral race candidate will be, though there’s been more and more unofficial information that the party will endorse Misko Ralev, an architect.
In the ethnic Albanian bloc, the European Front will endorse former Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani in Cair, MP Ziadin Sela in Struga, and the new member of the coalition, ex-Health Minister Arben Taravari, in Gostivar, MTV1 has reported.
In Kocani, the Acting Mayor, Venko Krstevski, will run as an independent.
