Mazut Case: Jahoski’s Defence Appeals Criminal Court’s Decision

The defence of Pucko Petrol owner Asmir Jahoski, who’s among the suspects in the Mazut case, has appealed, before the Court of Appeals, the Criminal Court’s decision to reject the guarantee of around 2 million euros for him to be out on bail and not in detention.

Attorney Vladimir Donevski has confirmed that the appeal has been submitted, adding that the institution has a three-day deadline to act upon it.

Regarding the matter of Asmir Jahoski, who’s the son of DUI MP Ismail Jahoski, VLEN has levelled fierce criticism at Ali Ahmeti’s party and the Islam Abazi-headed Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organised Crime and Corruption, as a result of the latter’s decision to agree to the proposal for Jahoski to be out on bail.

“Only Pucko Petrol and his family matter to Ahmeti and Abazi”, the coalition said, accusing DUI of forgetting about the former ministers covered in the investigation into the Kocani fire, Kreshnik Bekteshi, Bekim Neziri, Valon Saracini, and Driton Kuqi.
