Regarding the case of Toni Menkinoski, the lawyer who has been issued a 10-year ban on entry into Bulgaria, Foreign Minister Mucunski said on Monday he refused to believe the EU would take the side of “retrograde mechanisms” coming from the eastern neighbor.
The lawyer himself is starting a legal battle before both relevant domestic institutions and relevant international mechanisms for protection of human rights, to protect, as he has said, the right to defend and to perform his profession in an unimpeded manner.
