Mickoski Announces Investigation over Fees for Historical Commission Members

PM Hristijan Mickoski announced that there will be an investigation over the fees paid to the members of the Macedonian-Bulgarian Historical Affairs Commission.

“Let the experts get involved, we are for getting involved to find a solution. I don’t think there should be any more comments and attention paid to political platitudes by former members of the Historical Commission.

Hundreds of thousands of people’s money and euros were spent for something that resulted in capitulation accepting what Kovacevski and Osmani accepted.

I think that the lack of trust in this government, which received legitimacy from the citizens to correct the wrongly led processes in the past towards these members of the old commission, is a matter of political decision, it is not a matter of something else, whether the OSCE would have got involved or not, I don’t know who will get involved,” Mickoski said.
