Mickoski: Government Will Respect Court’s Decision on Law on Use of Languages

PM Hristijan Mickoski, commenting on the fact that the Constitutional Court is set to inspect the initiative against the Law on Use of Languages, said that the government will respect and implement the final decision of the Court.

“There’s no need to politicise a decision coming from a court, and whatever it may be, we are all obliged to respect it.

However, there are still possibilities for some tweaks to some articles and sections of the law. I call upon all relevant factors to not make political pressures over this matter and to not put the final decision of the Court into political connotation,” Mickoski said.

He located responsibility for the liabilities of the law within SDSM and DUI, which created and adopted the law while they were in power.
