Micksoki, Toshkovski Won’t Attend Session of Kochani Fire Inquiry Committee

PM Hristijan Mickoski and Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski will not attend the session of the Inquiry Committee at the Parliament over the Kochani fire case, scheduled to take place on Tuesday around noon.

From VMRO-DPMNE they briefly informed that PM Mickoski will not attend the session, while the Ministry of Interior informed that Toshkovski is prevented to attend it due to other pre-scheduled obligations, i.e. a business trip to Brussels.

The Office of President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova has not responded yet whether she will attend the session. From Levica, the leader of which [Dimitar Apasiev] chairs the Inquiry Committee, they expect that all who have been invited to attend the session.

“Let this not be another institutional shame. The relatives of the victims of the tragedy are coming to speak what the state has been ignoring for some time now. The least the top state officials can do is come to the session and look in the eyes the people who lost their loved ones in the fire. Any further avoidance of this committee’s sessions will be another blow over the pain and dignity of these people”, they reacted from Levica.
