A minor was physically assaulted by a group of his peers in the settlement of Vlae, Skopje, during which a hard object was also used, the Ministry of Interior has said. The case was reported to the police on Sunday afternoon by the mother of the assaulted minor. Based on police information, operational measures are underway to fully investigate and resolve the incident.
According to the report, the assault occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday, and some of the attackers were known to the victim.
“On October 18, 2026, at 3:30 p.m., a 39-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector that at around 12:30 a.m., on Vlae’s territory, her juvenile son had been physically assaulted by a group of minors, some of whom he knew, and a hard object had been used”, the Interior Ministry said.
Several media outlets have reported that approximately 15 minors took part in the incident. According to unofficial information, the boy sustained severe injuries, including broken teeth.
