Government spokesperson Marija Miteva has categorically denied claims by DUI Vice President Bujar Osmani that there has been communication with VMRO-DPMNE over the possibility of holding early parliamentary elections.
“We absolutely have no communication with DUI, least of all with Bujar Osmani”, Miteva said, suggesting that Osmani was either attempting to provoke an ethnic dispute or spreading false information.
Her remarks followed Osmani’s appearance on TV21’s “Klik Plus”, where he confirmed that DUI is calling for snap elections and said he expects them to be held next spring.
