Asked by Sitel about North Macedonia’s stand on the issue of recognition of Palestine, Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski said on Tuesday his country had to be careful and disciplined, not impulsive, when it came to decision-making in the area of foreign policy.
As he noted, his country is consulting with the strategic partners, the US and the EU, over the matter.
“Consultations will continue because currently there is no consensus between EU members themselves”, he nonetheless added, stressing that when the time came, a final decision would be made on recognition or non-recognition of Palestine.
