NATO Summit: Siljanovska Davkova Heading Country Delegation in Ankara

The two-day NATO Summit in Ankara, which started on Tuesday, is focusing on investments in defense, development of the defense industry, and assistance for Ukraine. North Macedonia’s delegation is headed by President and Commander-in-Chief Siljanovska Davkova, who’s accompanied by Foreign Minister Mucunski, DefMin Misajlovski, and CHOD Maj. Gen. Lafchiski.

However, the composition has been criticized by DUI, which asks why the delegation includes no representative of North Macedonia’s Albanian community. It notes that it represents the reflection of a “political mentality” that sees the country as owned by one ethnic community and ethnic Albanians only as internal decoration.
