New Ambassadorial Candidates Present Platforms

On Wednesday, the candidates for new ambassadors to Norway, Bulgaria, Sweden, and Romania presented their respective diplomatic platforms before MPs.

Krum Efremov is the candidate to serve as ambassador in Bulgaria. Bilateral relations are currently not at an adequate level, with de-escalation in communication being necessary, he assessed. Efremov also highlighted positive examples achieved by the two countries to date in economic cooperation, education, and culture, as well as future infrastructure connectivity projects.

Driton Kuqi is the candidate to serve in Norway, which would be his second ambassadorial term there. Following a hiatus of several years, Gabriel Atanasov is also set to return to the Embassy in Bucharest. The candidate for Sweden is Muharem Jusufi, whose professional engagement to date has been within the Ministry.
