New Protest March Held in Kocani

On Saturday, in Kocani, parents of those killed in the March nightclub fire organised a new protest march.

Among the participants was the family of Gjorgji Gorgiev, the drummer of the DNK band who was among those that lost their lives. The late musician’s father fiercely criticized institutions and the investigation. Also, he tore up the letters sent to him by President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and PM Hristijan Mickoski.

Furthermore, he said he was calling on Interior Minister Pance Toskovski to explain why there were police officers that did no work, adding that he had caught those that had stolen personal item from his son’s grave himself.

Other participants said Toskovski and Prosecutor-General Ljupco Kocevski had to explain how it was possible for police to conduct an action control process on the premises of a facility that hadn’t been allowed to operate to begin with, that didn’t hadn’t had any valid license, and that had seen its account blocked by the Public Revenue Office.
