Though DPM Sali, who’s part of VLEN, believes that according to the Constitution, students who want to take the Bar Exam in Albanian have to be enabled to do so, Justice Minister Filkov, who’s part of ZNAM, has pointed out that the Constitution and laws are clear, i.e. they provide for the Exam to be taken only in Macedonian.
Commenting on the matter, PM Mickoski said on Tuesday he didn’t expect the different opinions to impact the ruling coalition’s stability. Also, he expressed readiness for legal changes in the event of there being an initiative for that. To that end, he will invite those affected to a conversation as early as Wednesday.
According to SDSM leader Filipche, what matters the most is knowledge, not the language in which the Exam is taken. New divisions are not needed in society, he noted.
