New School Year Starts in North Macedonia

Education Minister Vesna Janevska marked the start of the new school year 2024/2025, wishing all the students in the country a happy beginning.

“Dear students, you are never alone, whatever you may do or face. Your parents and your teachers are always there for you, so do not hesitate to share with them the good and the bad things you experience, and try your best to provide help to your friends in need. Only that way you will grow up into mature individuals,” Janevska said at the first school lesson at the Stiv Naumov Primary School in Avtokomanda, Skopje.

PM Hristijan Mickoksi also extended his greetings to all students, especially the first graders in primary school.

“Around ten years ago we used to speak about projects securing computer for every student, while today we are proud to speak of textbooks for every student, but still we speak of something that now is better than it used to be before,” Mickoski said.
