Nikoloski: Bulgaria ‘so Dysfunctional’ Elections can’t even Be Scheduled

According to Transport Minister and Deputy PM Aleksandar Nikoloski, whenever there are elections in Bulgaria the topic about the western neighbour is exploited.

“Whenever there are elections in Bulgaria, the topic about Macedonia is exploited. I don’t even know when the elections there will be held because they’re so dysfunctional they cannot even schedule elections. This is their seventh or eighth caretaker cabinet. They will not even be able to find members for the caretaker cabinet.

So, let them take care of things domestically and elect a political government, and we will then sit down for discussions with that political government. I don’t intend to respond to people that hunt for political points even though they are people who are on the political margins currently in Bulgaria because they’re representatives of a government that doesn’t have legitimacy from anybody,” he stressed on Thursday.
