North Macedonia has supported Operation Epic Fury. The position was presented by Foreign Minister Mucunski on Twitter on Saturday.
“We stand with our American allies in confronting destabilizing threats in the Middle East. The United States has made clear that diplomacy is always the first option – but deterrence remains essential when credible risks persist. Security, stability, and accountability go hand in hand. At the same time, our embassies and consular teams across the region are actively engaged and working to support and assist our citizens, ensuring their safety and providing all necessary consular assistance”, the tweet reads.
Several hours later, he also said he’d had a constructive phone conversation with Israeli counterpart Sa’ar during which the support for the coordinated U.S.-Israel efforts regarding Iran had been reaffirmed.
The Foreign Ministry has formed a crisis staff that is continuously following the Middle East situation and is at 24/7 disposal when it comes to helping, supporting, and assisting North Macedonia citizens.
