Oncology Clinic Case: Decision to Form Committee of Inquiry Adopted

With 82 votes in favour, Parliament adopted on Wednesday a decision to form a committee of inquiry to look into the Oncology Clinic case.

VMRO-DPMNE MP Petar Risteski considers that the case needs to be solved, while the committee needs to determine whether “the scandal” endangered fundamental human rights of patients that received treatment after the use of the CATO system was stopped.

SDSM MPs, too, supported the decision. Nenad Kocic, a parliamentarian from the ruling party, said the body would need to determine whether there was political accountability too.
