Kisela Voda Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski, who also heads the Association of Local Self-Government Units, will be endorsed by his party, VMRO-DPMNE, in the Skopje mayoral race.
On Sunday, he said that he was asking for the support from all people in the capital, stressing that regardless of political affiliation, his stand was that there were only two types of people, that is, those that loved their city and those that didn’t.
Gjorgjievski also stated that he would start the following day activities on the ground and a process to create his election program.
VMRO-DPMNE’s leader, PM Hristijan Mickoski, said his party had learned its lessons, that is, that it wasn’t making a mistake in the local elections in terms of the mayoral candidate endorsed for the capital.
