Osmani and VMRO-DPMNE Trade Accusations over Early Parliamentary Elections Issue

On Saturday, DUI Cair mayoral candidate Bujar Osmani said that statements by PM Hristijan Mickoski and his coalition partners that there would be no early parliamentary elections were a sign of fear because they knew they would be defeated in the local polls.

“What bothers me the most is that the PM continues with the double messages. Ones being sent publicly and others sent through emissaries. With those being messages to us that we should get ready for a cabinet reshuffle after the elections.

We’re sending a message to him both through emissaries and publicly that Albanians are not a bargaining chip. The PM is slowly crossing the red line. I don’t know whether he’s aware which nerve of Albanians he’s touching, but it’s clear he’s touched the core of the people’s revolt and dignity”, he noted.

However, VMRO-DPMNE said in response there were no emissaries. According to the ruling party, the fiction and scenarios exist only in Osmani’s fantasy.

“With such statements, Osmani is trying to conceal the panic of DUI and SDSM before the certain election defeat”, Mickoski’s party stressed as well.

VLEN reacted too, saying DUI lied so much publicly that the public was right to suspect that the party had started to believe in the things it itself made up.
