Osmani: North Macedonia Counts on Support from US

Regarding the OSCE ministerial Council, Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairperson-in- Office Bujar Osmani said there was no country that would be absent.

As he explained, what the three Baltic states and Ukraine announced was the absence of their respective Foreign Ministers, but their delegations, with a full decision-making right, will be in Skopje.

“I think that if we take a look at and listen to their statements made yesterday, those were strong statements with support for our Chairpersonship-in-Office. Simply put, they wanted to send a message that they are against Russia’s right to make decisions on the future of the OSCE. However, those are the rules of the Organisation,” he stated.

Several media, citing “some world agencies” said Poland would not attend the OSCE meeting in Skopje due to Lavrov.
