Other Reactions to US Blacklisting Grubi and Bexheti

Commenting on the US blacklisting of DUI’s Artan Grubi, ex-Deputy PM, and Skopje Court of Appeals Judge Enver Bexheti, VMRO-DPMNE said on Monday that it had been proven that DUI’s patriotism was “fake”.

The ruling party also stated that Bexheti, who had kept the former Security and Counterintelligence Administration head Saso Mijalkov verdict [concerning the Target-Fortress case] in a drawer for nine months, proved the judiciary was particised.

Furthermore, VMRO-DPMNE asked DUI whether its leadership would distance itself from Grubi. Ziadin Sela, head of one of the Alliance for Albanians wing that’s part of the DUI-led European Front, called on Grubi and Bexheti to leave the political and institutional life, respectively. VLEN co-leader Bilall Kasami stated that it had been confirmed many DUI officials had sunk in corruption.
