On Wednesday, Parkovi and Zelenilo (Parks and Greenery), Florakom, and Luna employees stage a protest demanding payment of the September salary, as well as compliance with provisions from the collective agreement concerning annual leave pay, retirement indemnity, and salary supplements.
They said management had until 28 October (when the period for peaceful resolution of dispute expires) to meet the demands. If that doesn’t happen, they will activate a decision to go on strike.
The same day, Communal Hygiene PE employees and the Trade Union of Workers in Catering, Tourism, Communal and Housing Economy, Handicraft, and Protecting Associations stated that would take all measures at their disposal according to the law and collective agreements (criminal charges and reports to the State Labour Inspectorate), while making sure the position or health of all PE employees, as well as the health of residents of Skopje, was not endangered.
