On Monday, Parliament rejected the no-confidence motion against Minister of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozhinovska. Opposition lawmakers accused her of poor results in the energy sector, irregularities in the performance of her duties, and delays in reforms aimed at integrating the domestic energy market with the European one.
During the debate preceding the vote, suspicions were also raised regarding the conditions under which electricity is purchased from photovoltaic power plants.
Political disagreement cannot be declared illegality, and a differing vision for energy cannot be proclaimed a violation of the Constitution, the Minister said.
