A commission of constitutional experts will seek a solution regarding the use of Albanian when taking the Bar Exam, PM Mickoski said on Tuesday. He emphasized that the Constitution and international standards had to be respected in that regard.
According to the PM, the Languages Law has been contested before the Constitutional Court especially in the part related to the judiciary, while there is also a negative opinion from the Venice Commission regarding bilingualism in the sector.
Regarding the presence of opposition representatives at the Monday’s protest over the issue, Mickoski stated that he’d informed NATO and EU allies about that, assessing that it had been an attempt at destabilization that did not receive support from the international community.
