After his meeting with PM Mickoski, held on Wednesday in Vienna, Austrian Chancellor Stocker said North Macedonia had been an example for the region for a long time, adding that “we don’t want this progress” to be lost.
At the joint press conference, he stressed that Austria would continue to be one of the greatest supporters on the country’s EU path. In that regard, the Austrian Chancellor said the EU road was the right one and led to lasting stability and prosperity. PM Mickoski, on his part, said there were moments when Europe had to choose whether it would react or lead.
“Today, we’re precisely in such a moment”, he noted.
According to the PM, Europe will not be strong if its parts remain weak.
