Regarding the results of Bulgaria’s census, PM Hristijan Mickoski said on Thursday that the previous, SDSM-DUI government was to blame because it had left room for foreign propaganda in the south-eastern part of the country.
The PM stated that he would soon visit Macedonians in Albania and promised that the state would do everything to protect their identity.
Mickoski added that the census results showed that the number of Bulgarians in Albania was three times higher when compared to those in his country.
In that regard, he asked whether Bulgaria would set the inclusion of Bulgarians in Albania’s Constitution as a condition for that country’s EU path.
