The country is ready to cooperate with all its neighbours and build good-neighbourly relations, but that must be a two-way street, PM Hristijan Mickoski assessed on Thursday regarding, as he said, the “humiliations and insults” by his Greek counterpart, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.
In his view, both should re-examine their statements and the way they are behaving.
“I regret that they’re seeing a change in policy here. The times of the Macedonian Government having politicians who have yielded, who self-humiliate themselves, who are ready to sign everything in order not to protect the Macedonian citizens’ interest are over. My message to both, after all, they are more experienced than me and have held their positions as PM and President, respectively, longer is that we are a people that is small in numbers and peace-loving, and we are ready to cooperate with everybody. However, we see cooperation as a two-way street. It cannot be a one-way one,” Mickoski pointed out.
