Commenting on the North Macedonia chapter of the 2025 Rule of Law Report, PM Hristijan Mickoski has said he has a counter-proposal, that is, for the EC to elect new prosecutors and Judicial Council.
“If we talk about justice and if they think these people should bring justice, I don’t know which living person in Macedonia believes they can bring justice. Here, I will make a counter-proposal: Let the EC come and let it elect the Judicial Council and prosecutors, we will work with them. Just let them remove these ones. I don’t have to do anything. Let them elect because we’re said not to know, said to interfere. Here, we will pull back. Just let them remove these ones because every session of the Judicial Council is one scandal after another”, he stated on Thursday.
