PM Mickoski Comments on Several Topics

Answering a journalist’s question about the Government’s decision to nominate Judge Nenad Saveski as Prosecutor General, PM Mickoski said on Wednesday the decision had been made after all candidates had been analyzed. As the PM added, he personally doesn’t know Saveski, but from what he’s been able to see from his CV and based on what he’s heard when he asked around, the cabinet considers he can make a great Prosecutor General.

Asked about the EES-transporters issue, he said it would most likely be resolved by issuing annual visas with multiple entry and exit from the Schengen zone. There are already talks at a bilateral level with several EU members that are also part of the Schengen zone, the PM pointed out.

Asked about the Gulf situation, he said there were currently no challenges that could endanger the normal function of the system. PM Mickoski held a meeting that day with representatives of stores, saying they’d jointly concluded that there should be fair prices of products and there should be no new increase.
