Regarding the elections in Bulgaria, PM Hristijan Mickoski said he hoped a government would be formed in the eastern neighbour with which his country’s authorities would be able to sit down and find a solution to unblock the EU path.
He expects Bulgaria’s new cabinet to consist of at least three partners. Regarding the victory of Boyko Borissov, Mickoski reiterated that both VMRO-DPMNE and GERB were part of the EPP.
When it comes to the letter sent to him from DUI leader Ali Ahmeti, the PM said he still hadn’t received it, adding that he would pay attention to it once he did.
As far as the plans for the Agency for National Security and Intelligence Agency to be merged are concerned, the PM stated that there would have been perhaps by the start of 2025 a draft copy of the law to implement the announced reforms within security structures.
