On Wednesday, during a visit to Kocani, PM Hristijan Mickoski stated that his party, VMRO-DPMNE, would very soon reveal the names of mayoral candidates for municipalities where there’d been additional measuring and analyses.
He also said that it was clear that the ruling majority would be the election winner.
Regarding the issue of participation of independents in the local elections, Mickoski underlined that the Government had done everything to provide conditions for all sides to be satisfied.
Asked about the need for a Badinter majority in Parliament, the PM said that DUI, after 20 years, was an opposition party, stressing that it obviously had serious problems within its structures.
