PM Mickoski Continues Criticism of Prosecutor’s Office and Kocevski

On Thursday, during a visit to Ohrid, PM Hristijan Mickoski stated that the activities to fight crime and corruption couldn’t be carried out considering the current composition of the Prosecutor’s Office and Ljupco Kocevski serving as Prosecutor-General.

“Institutions take measures, submit charges, but the Prosecutor’s Office should take action. That’s the essence”, he stated, answering a journalist’s question as to whether it was time for institutions to take measures considering constant reports by the State Audit Office on crimes and inconsistencies.

Institutions constantly take measures, he added.

“However, that, with these prosecutors, with this Prosecutor-General, is in vain”, the PM stressed.
