“There was an intensive agenda during the visit to Washington. I would describe it as exceptionally successful,” PM Mickoski said on Monday.
In Washington, he added, those that the delegation led by him met had a chance to see “different” politicians, ones with a clear plan.
“The current government doesn’t intend to rob citizens and the country, as was done previously by politicians who would say ‘yes’ to everything while yielding, who would use one hand to wave the NATO and EU flag and the other to rob the people and country,” the PM stressed.
In that regard, Mickoski underlined the importance of the rule of law, of institutions being functional, and of politicians serving citizens as much as possible.
“The time when there were several happy politicians and hundreds of thousands unhappy citizens is over,” the PM emphasised.
