On Tuesday, PM Hristijan Mickoski said he expected the country’s file in Brussels to “see “the light” in 2025.
As he also pointed out, the discussions should focus on the scenario that will see the goal achieved instead of on one or two obstacles. Furthermore, the PM noted that though the country wasn’t brilliant, that could be said also for EU members. The constitutional changes, according to Mickoski, will be made once the end of the process can be seen.
“We’re ready to walk our lane of the two-way street,” he underlined, asking whether Brussels, too, was genuinely ready. In his view, the EU cannot guarantee a timeframe, but it can guarantee that the country will not face bilateral problems.
