PM Mickoski expects the water in Gostivar to be technically safe by the end of the week and safe for drinking towards the end of next week, provided all activities proceed according to the foreseen dynamism. According to Health Minister Klekovski, there have been no new hospitalizations. Also, a meeting of the Crisis Staff Water in Gostivar was held.
Water in Gostivar must not be used for drinking under any circumstances, nor should it be used as technical water because it remains both chemically and microbiologically unsafe, Interior Minister Toshkovski, who heads the Steering Committee for Coordination and Management of the Crisis Management System, stated.
As he explained, with the assistance of experts from Skopje’s Water Supply and Sewerage PE, the cleaning of the water supply network has begun.
