During MTV1’s Open Studio program on Thursday, VMRO-DPMNE leader and PM Mickoski said a session of his party’s Executive Committee would be held on June 30, after which changes within the cabinet reshuffle would be known. He emphasized that the reshuffle was motivated not only by the results of ministers so far, but also by the need to redefine the priorities of ruling coalition partners.
“What was important two years ago has a different form today and requires a different approach”, Mickoski underlined in the interview.
Regarding the rule of law, the PM said his stand was that it was a problem in terms of the perception of citizens because, essentially, there was no rule of law. In that regard, Mickoski pointed out that he was not satisfied with the judiciary because, as he stressed, that’s the only way for citizens to change perception regarding trust in court bodies.
Asked about the Equitable Representation Bill, he said it was fully aligned with the Constitution and had received all positive recommendations from the EC.
