PM Mickoski Leading Delegation during US Visit

PM Hristijan Mickoski is leading North Macedonia’s delegation during the official visit to the United States, where it will participate in the NATO Summit in Washington and carry out numerous other activities.

The delegation includes also Interior Minister Pance Toskovski, Defence Minister Vlado Misajlovski, and Foreign Affairs and External Trade Minister Timco Mucunski.

As the Government said on Sunday, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations with the US, “affirm Macedonia as a stable partner”, and promote economic opportunities of the country before US investors.

Mickoski will deliver a speech at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, which will be followed by meetings with US business community representatives. The PM will meet high representatives of IRI, Congress and Senate members, that is, Brendan Boyle and Jeanne Shaheen, who co-chair the Congressional Caucus on North Macedonia.

He will also participate in the formal event marking NATO’s 75th birthday that will be held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium. North Macedonia’s delegation will also attend the opening of the NATO forum and meetings of the North Atlantic Council.
